ASTM A194 Grade 8M is a grade of ASTM A194 standard. ASTM A194 Specification for Carbon and Alloy Steel Nuts for Bolts Used at High Pressure or High Temperature, or Both. This ASTM A194 specification covers a variety of carbon, alloy, and martensitic stainless steel nuts in the size range 1/4 through 4 in. and metric M6 through M100 nominal. It also covers austenitic stainless steel nuts in the size range 1/4 in. and M6 nominal and above. The material for ASTM A194 grade 8M heavy hex nut is Type 316 stainless steel. 316 stainless steel is a stainless steel material containing 2-3% molybdenum, which has better corrosion resistance than 304 stainless steel. ASTM A194 grade 8M heavy hex nut contains molybdenum, which can show better corrosion resistance in chloride environments, so it is widely used in marine, chemical, pharmaceutical and other fields.

A: Sure. We can provide files for both. Normally we provide these files after nut production is complete.
2.Q: I want the finish on my ASTM A194 grade 8M heavy hex nuts to be Teflon sprayed. Is this okay?
A: Yes, it is. We have our own Teflon coating processing production line and can also provide Xylan coatings.
3.Q: Can I get samples for testing?
