Description
ASTM A449
ASTM A449 specification covers quenched and tempered steel hex head screws, bolts and studs from 1/4 inch to 3 inch inclusive. It is suitable for general engineering use. These fasteners are quenched and tempered during production. And they regardless of the steel used, shall be tempered by reheating to not less than 800°F.
