Description
Hex Socket Head Cap Screws
The hex socket head cap screws are similar to the countersunk head screws. The nail head is buried in the machine part, and the connection strength is relatively strong, but the screw must be assembled and disassembled with a hex socket wrench of the corresponding specification. Generally used in various machine tools and their accessories. The socket head shall have a flat chamfered top surface with smooth or knurled cylindrical sides and a flat bearing surface.

About the method of preventing the hex socket head cap screw from loosening
The hex socket head cap screws are used for fastening, and they are often subject to vibration and vibration when installed on the machine, so some hex socket head cap screws may loosen. In order to avoid this phenomenon, we need to use some anti-loose treatment. There are many ways to prevent loosening:
1. It is more common to add a suitable spring washer between the hex socket head cap screw and the working parts. The function of the spring washer is to increase the pressure through the rebound force, which can well increase the anti-loosening effect of the hex socket head cap screw. (It is recommended to use combination screws here for easy installation)
2. Do anti-dropping glue at the tail of the hex socket head cap screw thread. This anti-loosening method is used more on small screws. The glue on the screw has good viscosity performance and will effectively adhere to the thread surface. And the thickness is very thin, and it can play a very good anti-loosening effect after being tightened with the threaded hole.
3. If the hex socket head cap screw is used in a place that does not need to be disassembled, the screw can be welded to the installation place after the screw is installed, which can play a very good anti-loosening effect, but the used hex socket head cap screw cannot be disassembled and used again.
